Celebrating At Home

I had pizza and ice cream since I dont really dig cake. I only had a little ice cream. Sometimes I would rather play than eat!

New Shirt

Here I am in my new MIT shirt that I got from Grumpy. Apparently this school in Cambridge, MA named itself after me. Copycats.

52 Weeks - One Year

So I turned one. I started walking a few weeks ago. I had a good time. On my actual birthday, I got my toy train. I can ride on it, and play with the knobs and dial, or push it while I walk. I like to push it and stand on it. I also got several balls, bubbles, and a toy instrument. I also got a basketball hoop and a wagon and lots of art stuff and a few clothes. I ate grilled cheese. We celebrated on Saturday with pizza and ice cream sundaes. During the day, I went to the Bay Area Discovery Museum which was okay. They had tot land which I loved but everything else was for bigger people.

Not that I am not big. I had my 1 year pediatrician appointment and I was 34 inches and 26 pounds 8 oz. I am the height of a two year old and weight of a 22 months old. Long and lean, just like my old man. In fact, at my age, my dad was four inches shorter than me.

I love to dance!

51 Weeks

I have been going swimming every other week still. I started swimming at 15 weeks. I like to jump off the side of the pool and do a pencil drop (where you jump off and make your body straight like a pencil).

I just used up all my classes at Gymboree Play and Music. I generally dominate the scene there, with people commenting on my big body and my ability to play catch with balls. I like to roll this huge log filled with air, as it helps my walking. I also like the baby trampoline where I get to bounce up and down.

I am now eating limited vegetables now, after a long stretch of refusing vegetables. I like edamame and peas.

My favorite book continues to be Blankie by Leslie Patricelli. I highly recommend it for those of you out there in the 6-12 month range.

At the park, I am more interested in climbing things, right now I dont like the baby swings.

Most recently, I have been having my stylist do various hairdos, which all the ladies at the Bar Method delight in. The most favorite was the mohawk, which Dadda did not want to do, but he isnt the arbiter of hip, and of course everyone loved it, so I am not going to listen to him about hair anymore.

I turn one very soon and I am looking forward to eating my birthday ice cream from Swensons.

50 Weeks

Walking! Nuzz took his first step at mama's friends' (Tif and Emerson) house the Friday before Thanksgiving. At 50 weeks, he is taking between 2-8 steps at a time.

Sometimes when mom and dad aren't looking I like to open my drawers and throw my clothes on the floor.

I have to wear my prepster shirt when I play with my box. I use it to practice my walking.

49 Weeks

I like to practice my power lifting skills. Here I am practicing with two of my favorite items, a plunger and a trashcan.
